All games will be played at the following times unless extenuating circumstances (Usually an issue with refs or facilities) prevents the typical schedule:

7A-5:00
8A-6:00

B games are very flexible and depend on gym space and personnel of each team.

Congratulations to the following students for being selected to have their artwork on display in the Teen Scene section of the Rogers Public Library this fall:

We are SO excited to welcome Mrs. Dunn to OMS!

My name is Valerie Dunn, and I am excited to begin my 26th year in the classroom as an Oakdale Patriot. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education from the University of Memphis and my Master’s Degree in Reading and Dyslexia Endorsement from Arkansas State University.

This year, I am most excited about meeting my 6th and 7th graders where they are on their reading journey and finding creative ways to foster connections and grow their reading and writing skills. I love creating a classroom environment where we work hard, encourage one another, and celebrate success.

I look forward to coming alongside the amazing group of educators here at Oakdale and collaborating to make this an engaging and impactful year for our students.

Welcome Back to Oakdale, Mrs. Hemenway!

My name is Emily Hemenway, and I am so excited to be back at Oakdale, right where my journey in education started! I am ready to meet all of my students and help contribute to Oakdale’s incredible culture this year. I earned my undergrad from Missouri State University, and a Masters in Special Education from the University of Arkansas back in 2021.
I cannot wait to challenge my students, and myself this school year. I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to be teaching in a building that prioritizes growth not just with students, but also with the educators in the building. Making a difference in my students lives, and the community we live in is something that I am proud to do, and hold very dearly.

We loved welcoming our Patriots and their families for WEB Orientation and Open House! From meeting teachers and exploring the building to getting ready for an exciting new school year, it was great to see our halls filled with energy, smiles, and excitement.
