My favorite baseball players who are playing their first 25-26 tournaments at different fields at the same times. Watching Reece in person while watching Brady on game changer. Love them big.❤️⚾️

I’m SO grateful to call ARCA home and am blessed each day to work with the best leaders, teachers, students, and families.

Getting to serve as Assistant Director of Student Success is a dream come true and it’s my passion to lead with integrity, kindness, and compassion.

I’m wishing you the best school year ever!

Leaving Little Rock tomorrow morning with the fullest heart. My school had our end of the year field trip at the zoo, I chaperoned prom, and I helped at graduation today. I met new coworkers and got to know others even better.

This school year, God slammed shut a door at a previous school (it was very obvious and needed) and opened another door at Arkansas Connections Academy wide open. This past school year, I’ve served high school students as their success coach.

Today at graduation, I got to hug the neck of a few of those students I’ve worked with, some of whom have gone through a TOUGH journey to get to graduation day. One of my students told me if it hadn’t been for me pushing her, she wouldn’t have made it to this day. She made me cry of course because each and every one of their stories matter and they’re so very important to me.

As a lot of you know, I have a passion for both working with students and teachers, and have done that in the work in my education business, through curriculum design projects, and through mentorship and coaching for the past 8 years. After earning my Masters in Ed Tech, I decided to start a year long program to earn my administrator certificate and began that this summer.

But also, I am stepping into something brand new where I get to serve teachers at ARCA. Next school year (drum roll please), I got promoted to Assistant Director of Student Success where I’ll work with the most incredible leadership team on the planet to serve all of our close to 6000 students in grades K-12 and work with the awesomest success coaches, who are truly the best.

Being a mom to these 3 is the seriously the best. Each of them has blessed me in different ways and they’ll always be my baby boys (even if they’re outgrowing me). Love them more than words could ever express. Happy Mothers Day to every momma out there pouring into your kiddos and families day in and day out. ❤️

The “Making Music Happen” K-12 Curriculum is now live! Created in partnership with the NAMM Foundation, writers from F-flat Books worked to bring artifacts from the NAMM archive to life through 32 engaging, student-centered lesson plans.

These lesson plans center on connections between music-making and the music industry itself, drawing inspiration from the work of NAMM’s Museum of Making Music.

I had the privilege of being one of the writers on this project.

You can access all elementary or secondary lesson plan for FREE by heading here:

In collaboration with the writing team at F-flat Books, we have created a curriculum built upon the amazing resources in NAMM's Museum of Making Music.
