Residents and fellow employees truly enjoy speaking with him daily. There is something truly special about gathering together and learning something new. We recently had a wonderful time with Chef Jon as he guided us through making a classic Bananas Foster — right in Parcside for our memory care residents, as part of our monthly chef demo day.

It was a warm, hands-on experience that brought our community together over great food and great company. Moments like these remind us how meaningful it is to share a table, a skill, and a smile.

We are excited to share a few photographs capturing the truly fantastic artwork and the remarkably unique displays we encountered during our recent trip to the Crystal Bridges Museum.

There was so much to see throughout the galleries that it provided us with the perfect excuse to plan a return visit soon. We ended our wonderful day with a delicious lunch at the museum's own Eleven restaurant.

We would like to extend a very big thank you to David Ervin for his wonderful performances, showcasing both his impressive bagpipe talents and his skillful piano playing. We truly appreciated him taking the time to explain the details of his traditional Scottish outfit and share fascinating stories about his personal experiences living in Scotland. It was incredibly sweet and heartwarming to see his mother-in-law, Rohena, who resides here with us at Village on the Park, glow with joy while he played.
