Another school year. Another adventure. 💜

This year feels especially meaningful at Penny Lane. We’re incredibly grateful to be returning to our original, pre-COVID size—smaller, more familiar, and finally feeling like home again.

The teachers our families know and love are still here, ready for another year of playing, learning, growing, and making memories together.

We do have a few part-time openings available throughout the school year. We understand that every family’s childcare needs—and budget—look a little different, so we’re happy to talk through the days, hours, flexibility, and price point that may work best for your family.

💜 ONE Pre-K Opening at Penny Lane! 💜

Looking for a Pre-K option without giving up the freedom, play, and flexibility that make early childhood so special?

Penny Lane offers a Pre-K option at a similar price point to traditional Pre-K programs, but with a more play-based approach to childhood.

We believe children learn best when they’re moving, creating, exploring, pretending, building friendships, getting messy, spending time outside, and—most importantly—PLAYING.

✨ Drop-off begins at 7:15 AM — no sitting in an hour-long school drop-off line before you can start your day.

✨ Part-Time: $100/week

✨ Full-Time: Please inquire

✨ Small, familiar environment

✨ Play-based early childhood education

✨ Plenty of outdoor time, hands-on experiences & room to just be little

We aren’t trying to make preschool feel like elementary school.

They’re going to have plenty of years to sit at a desk. Childhood gets to come first here. 💜

We are focused on creating the very best environment and experience possible for the children and families currently in our care. Our team is spending this season investing in our classrooms, professional development, and our transition to a play-based model of early childhood education.

At this time, we will not be responding to enrollment or waitlist inquiries. Any future openings, availability, or new services will always be announced right here on our page.

At Penny Lane, we’re thoughtfully transforming our classrooms into environments that support the most important work of childhood: PLAY.

You may notice fewer worksheets and more open-ended materials, dramatic play spaces, art experiences, and opportunities for children to follow their curiosity. That’s because play isn’t a break from learning—it is learning.
