Please help us welcome the newest addition to our Rogers & Elmwood Band Team, Mr. Peyton Lickfelt! Originally from Springdale, Mr. Lickfelt graduated from Springdale Har-Ber High School in 2019, being awarded the Legacy Award and Arion National Award for outstanding musical achievement. He continued his education at the University of Arkansas, where he studied Music Education as a member of Dr. Ben Pierce’s tuba and euphonium studio.

During his time at the U of A, Mr. Lickfelt was a part of many performing groups such as the UA Community Horn Choir, the Razorbones, the UA Tuba/Euphonium Quartet, the University of Arkansas Wind Symphony, and the University of Arkansas Wind Ensemble. In 2020, Mr. Lickfelt received international recognition, being selected as a semi-finalist in the
Leonard Falcone International Tuba and Euphonium Competition. His primary instrument is the euphonium.

Mr. Lickfelt is coming to Rogers from the Elkins School District, where he was the Director of Bands during the 2024-25 school year. He is excited to join the outstanding staff at Elmwood Middle School and Rogers High School, and looks forward to moving closer to home, and spending more time with his friends and family.
