Our seniors rolled out the red carpet this morning and welcomed our Upper Campus students with plenty of cheers, smiles, and school spirit.

Today marks day one for our Upper Campus, and we are so thankful to have these students back together and filling campus with life again!

Our Grammar Campus kicked off the new school year with Meet the Teacher and our Back-to-School Bonanza! From meeting teachers and visiting classrooms to pony rides, popcorn, and plenty of smiles, it was such a fun afternoon welcoming our families back to campus.

There’s nothing quite like seeing our halls filled with students and families again. We are so excited for another year of learning, growing, and making memories together! ❤️💙

Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Cindy Moses to the Providence Academy family!

Mrs. Moses joins our team as Dean of Advising, bringing more than 30 years of experience serving students and families through Christian education, public education, and ministry. She is passionate about helping students discover God’s calling for their lives and walking alongside families as they navigate the journey beyond high school.

Outside of Providence, Mrs. Moses enjoys traveling, reading, spending time in God’s creation, and preserving family memories through photography and photo books. She and her husband, Wade, have been married for 34 years and are the proud grandparents of four grandchildren.

We’re excited to welcome Mrs. Moses to the Providence family and look forward to the wisdom, encouragement, and Christ-centered guidance she will provide to our students and families.

Please join us in welcoming Eugene Farley to the Providence Academy family!

Mr. Farley joins our faculty with a passion for Christ-centered education and a heart for investing in the next generation. This year, he will be teaching English III, English IV, World Religions, and Personal Finance.

Outside the classroom, Mr. Farley enjoys spending time with his family, preaching and teaching God’s Word, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, watching Disney movies, and diving into the world of The Lord of the Rings.

His favorite Scripture is Romans 8:28: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

We’re excited to welcome Mr. Farley to the Providence family and look forward to the wisdom, encouragement, and Christ-centered leadership he will bring to our students.

Please join us in welcoming Shane Slaton to the Providence Academy family!

Mr. Slaton brings a unique blend of classroom experience and real-world scientific expertise to Providence. After graduating from Oklahoma Christian University, he spent 12 years teaching high school science before transitioning to a career as a Surgical Neurophysiologist, where he worked alongside orthopedic spine surgeons in the operating room. This year, he is excited to return to the classroom to teach 9th Grade Physical Science.

Shane and his wife moved to Northwest Arkansas in 2007 to be closer to family. When he’s not in the classroom, Mr. Slaton has some incredible stories to tell—from completing the western portion of the TransAmerica Trail from Northwest Arkansas to the Oregon coast to working as a gold miner in Nome, Alaska!

We’re excited for the knowledge, experience, and Christ-centered perspective Mr. Slaton will bring to our students.

Please join us in welcoming Kara Autrey to the Providence Academy family!

Mrs. Autrey joins our faculty with a passion for literature and a heart for Christ-centered education. This year, she will be teaching College Composition I, Intro to Literature, American Literature, and British Literature.

Kara and her husband, Josh, have two boys and enjoy spending time together outdoors. Whether she’s reading a good book, camping, hiking, spending a day on the lake, or cheering on her favorite sports teams, she loves making the most of every season.

We’re grateful to have Mrs. Autrey join the Providence family and look forward to the impact she will make in the lives of our students!

Please join us in welcoming Kendall Mayo to the Providence Academy family!

Mr. Mayo joins our faculty with five years of teaching experience in history, humanities, and Bible. He holds a B.A. in Biblical Studies and Languages, an M.A. in Religious Studies, and is currently pursuing a Th.D. in Historical Theology. This year, he will be teaching Medieval History, Rhetoric, and Interpreting the Bible.

Outside the classroom, Mr. Mayo enjoys CrossFit, biking with his wife, Anna, and playing sports. His favorite passage of Scripture is Zechariah’s song in Luke 1:68–79.

We’re excited for the knowledge, enthusiasm, and Christ-centered perspective Mr. Mayo will bring to our students.
