This week, a team of Mathias Elementary teachers attended the AVID Summer Institute in Kansas City to learn new strategies that will help our students grow, achieve, and
succeed. We can’t wait to put these new ideas into action this school year as we continue Sailing to Success with AVID! 💙💛

Congratulations and Welcome to our new Assistant Principal! Mariners, we have hit the jackpot with Mrs. Walsh. Welcome to the Mariner Crew! 💙⚓️

The Rogers Board of Education has approved the appointment of Robin Walsh as assistant principal for Joe Mathias Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year.

Walsh joined Rogers Public Schools in 2021 as a teacher at Eastside Elementary School and most recently served as the Math and Science Instructional Coach at Grace Hill Elementary.

Field Day was an “Out of This World Space Adventure” today! From Space Spinners to Lunar Rover Relays, these Mariners had a blast learning about space through movement and fun! What a great start to our last week of school!

Shoutout to Coach White and all of the amazing volunteers that helped to make field day a success!
