Did you know that Marie Van Brittan Brown, a Black inventor, created the first home security system? 🏡🔒 In 1966, she and her husband developed a system with peepholes, cameras, and an intercom, paving the way for modern security systems we use today! 📹🚪

Her innovation not only made homes safer but also inspired the security technology used in businesses and public spaces worldwide. 🌍✨

Did you know that Dr. Shirley Jackson, a brilliant physicist, helped pave the way for modern telecommunications? Her groundbreaking research led to the development of technologies like 📞 caller ID, ☎️ touch-tone phones, and 🌐 fiber-optic cables—things we use every day!

As the first Black woman to earn a Ph.D. in physics from MIT, Dr. Jackson’s achievements remind us that curiosity, determination, and education can change the world. 🌍✨

Since today is Super Bowl LIX, let’s celebrate a football legend! 🏆🏟️

Did you know? Doug Williams made history in 1988 as the first Black quarterback to start and win a Super Bowl! 🏈🎉 Leading Washington to victory in Super Bowl XXII, he threw a record-breaking four touchdowns in a single quarter, proving that Black athletes belong in every position on the field. 🙌🏾🔥

Did you know? Ella Fitzgerald, also known as the “First Lady of Song,” was the first Black woman to win a Grammy Award in 1958! 🏆 She went on to win 13 Grammys and sell over 40 million records, leaving a lasting impact on the music industry. 🎵🎶
