Today was our annual publication leadership workshop. Thank you to Maureen Engen (who spoke on Gratitude), Coach Jon Holmes (who shared the importance of leadership), Bill Creach (who spoke about culture), and our yearbook rep Tracy Tuley (who shared the importance of beginning with the end in mind, meeting deadlines, and seeing the big picture. Then announcing that our 2026 yearbook earned the walsworth Gallery of Excellence recognition. What a day!

Day 3 & 4: Interviews and production ✅️Newsletters produced✅️Certificates of completion handed out. ✅️, Miege publication stickers and copy of publications distributed✅️✅️✅️. We had some left over yearbooks that I gave out - so at the end, all the campers signed each other's yearbook. 🫠 1st middle school journalism camp COMPLETE! 🎉Yeah, we'll do it again next year! 👍

I think one of the best parts was my publication staffers volunteers see how much hard work goes into this stuff and realizing that their help was appreciated.👀
