Congratulations to the Dorman High School Choral Program on earning the Outstanding Performance Award for the 2025-2026 academic year.

This is the highest annual honor that a choral program in South Carolina can earn. It demonstrates a commitment to and the achievement of excellence across the board in all of the events that the South Carolina Music Educators Association Choral Division has to offer. Directors, thank you for investing in the students within your program in such a profound way, and inspiring every one of us in the SC choral community.

Spartanburg School District Six is excited to announce the new Dawkins Middle School Choral Director, Mr. Noah Mofield.

Mr. Mofield is a graduate of Furman University with a Bachelor of Music - Music Education, and an upcoming graduate of University of South Carolina with a Masters of Music - Choral Conducting. He previously has worked with ensembles of diverse ages and styles, bringing sustainable excellence to the stage while nurturing individual interests. He plans to continue developing the strong community of singers at DMS as he dives into the many successful and long-standing traditions of D6 Fine Arts!

Shows will be held in the Dorman Fine Arts Center:
Friday, April 17 at 7 pm
Saturday, April 18 at 2 pm
Thursday, April 23 at 7 pm
Friday, April 24 at 7 pm

🎟️ Tickets are $8 per person. Children 8 and under get in FREE! D6 Faculty and Staff get in free with one guest when you show your ID.

Varsity Winter Guard recently competed in the WGI Color Guard World Championships in Dayton, Ohio. They had two incredible performances! This was the first time in DHS history that our Guard program has achieved a place in semi-finals at World Championships. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments this season!
