It was all about rainbows today! We made and ate rainbow toast, touched a rainbow on the wall made by the sun shining through a prism, and learned about “capillary action” as we observed marker ink absorbing into both ends of a paper towel and meeting in the middle to create a rainbow!

Today was our field trip to the Fairview Park Fire Department! We had a great time and learned so much! 🚒

Today we concluded Western Week with a cowboy campfire meal! The children ate hotdogs and baked beans then “toasted” marshmallows over a pretend campfire they helped make!

A crowd favorite- hammers and nails!

We love activities that check multiple boxes and this one does just that. Not only does it strengthen fine motor skills necessary for learning to write, but this activity also improves hand-eye coordination, promotes creativity and fosters confidence. Not to mention it’s just plain fun!
