Each year, we choose a school theme. An idea that guides and encourages us throughout the year. This year, Lutheran West’s theme is inspired by Philippians 1:6:

“And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”

As we begin a new school year, we look forward to seeing the good work God continues to do in our students, our school, and our community. He is at work, and He is faithful to finish what He has begun!

Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

Our comfort dog, Poppy, has been busy spreading smiles, supporting students, and taking in some beautiful views of the park. We’re so lucky to have her as part of our campus community! 💛🐶

Yesterday in Mr. Hubeler's Armor of God class, students got crafty and created the the six parts or the armor of God out of cardboard and tape.

This activity was a visual representation of Ephesians 6:10-17, which says, "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."
