This week, 6th grade Faith Formation class learned about Abraham and the Three Visitors from Genesis Chapter 18. They ventured to the Culinary Arts room, where Mrs. Greco graciously prepared a period-appropriate cheese for them and the class made unleavened bread with her help. This led to a discussion of the presence of God and how we respond to God's blessings.

Eighth graders in Ms. Bender's Faith Formations classes recently had a hands-on experience with one of Paul's teachings. Each student took on a different role - eyes, mouth, legs, or arms - to complete a given task. Through the activity, students experienced firsthand how important each part was in order to be successful. They then connected their experience to 1 Corinthians 12:27 which says, "Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it."

Ms. Bender shared that "the main takeaway for students was how God has given us different gifts and abilities, and how each one matters. We are called to use these gifts to serve God and others!"
