It's been quiet over here.. but that doesn't mean nothing is happening! After months of planning, I'm so excited to finally share this! 💚

I'm combining my love of teaching, nature, Spanish, and farm life into something I've dreamed about for a long time.

Farm Adventure Fridays are designed for kids ages 5–12 who love exploring, creating, getting messy, and learning by doing- a real life learning adventure!

If you've been looking for a homeschool enrichment opportunity that's hands-on and outdoors, I'd love to have your family join us.

Feel free to message me with any questions or to reserve a spot. 🌿🐐

So much has changed already in 2024.

A year of tremendous loss and heartbreak, but also opportunity.

I've been choosing a word of the year for several years, and each year it surprises me where it takes me. This year was growth. I never in my wildest dreams imagined that I would be forced to grow way beyond what I thought possible, when I absolutely wasn't ready.

Tomorrow is not guaranteed, so I know I have to keep taking baby steps forward on my dream of having small group classes.

Stay tuned for upcoming Spanish classes on the mini farm 🥰

Do you know what this flower is??

It's wild radish!
This was a new one to me, but it was everywhere we camped this weekend. The flowers are delicious, and the root was just like... Radish!

I'm all about learning new edible plants!

What is that cool creature??

It's a spicebush swallowtail butterfly caterpillar!
(Not actually a Pokemon, but maybe closely related 🤣)

Swipe to see it's chrysalis!

Talk about camouflage.. if it had decided to be on a leaf. The electric wire on the side of my house.. Not so much!

We have been finding some pretty awesome looking caterpillars as summer winds down- what is the coolest you've seen??
