We need your input!

This flyer was passed out at Open House, and the QR code leads to our 2026-27 Title I Parent Survey. We need your input on what types of activities you would like to see hosted after school and when the best days and times are for these events. Past events have included concerts, Hispanic Heritage Night, STEAM Night, and classroom activities where parents can experience what it's like in their student's class!

Here's a health update from Nurse Baker!

The Pender County Health Department is holding an immunization clinic on Tuesday, August 25th in Burgaw. This is a great chance to get your child up-to-date on their immunizations!

The Pender County Health Department will hold a one-day extended Back-to-School Immunization Clinic on Tuesday, August 25, from 7 a.m.–7 p.m. at both locations:

📍 Burgaw — 298 Progress Drive
📍 Hampstead — 15060 Highway 17

Wow! We had such an amazing turnout at Open House, and it was so wonderful to see all of these smiling faces! If you weren't able to make it, you can reach out to the front office or your student's teacher to connect before the first day of school.

And don't forget! The building and breakfast open at 7:00am, and instruction begins promptly at 7:20am. Please be on time so that we can maximize your student's learning! (Post 3/3)

Today is a great day as our RPE Family joins all of the other Pender County Schools staff at our annual Beginning-of-the-Year Convocation. We enjoyed our collective community as we heard from our Superintendent, Dr. Brad Breedlove, and author and speaker, Leah Marone.

Our Ram Fam is ready for a fantastic school year! We'll see you at Open House on Thursday, August 20th!

The decks, ramps and steps serving the mobile classrooms behind the school have been fully replaced, providing safe, reliable access for students and staff ahead of the first day of school on August 24. 🏫✅

Take a look at the finished work! 📸 A big thank-you to our Maintenance Department for helping prepare our campuses for another great school year.
