Wear yellow this week in support of Special Needs students and their families!

10/05/2026

In October, Pender County celebrates their "Month of Awareness," and we begin this week with Mental Health Awareness Week.

Did you know? Our students participate in weekly social-emotional learning lessons both in their classrooms and with our counselor, Ms. Sherwood. These lessons help our students learn a variety of skills from how to regulate their emotions to how to deal with conflicts with peers.

Wear green this week to help us bring awareness to the importance of Mental Health!
