We are honored to be recognized as a Virginia Naturally School for the 2025-2026 school year. The Virginia Naturally School Recognition Program is the official environmental education school recognition program of the Commonwealth and is administered by the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources. The goal of this program is to recognize K-12 schools in Virginia that have undertaken exemplary efforts to increase conservation-centered teaching and environmental literacy for all students. Recognized schools provide authentic, hands-on, real-world student learning in STEM and sustainability as well as meaningful field experiences and educational activities extending beyond the classroom.
