We love to see our students taking advantage of opportunities to learn and grow—even on a Saturday!

Today, several EAHS students attended Success Fest 2026, hosted in partnership with Edgecombe Community College and the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tar River Region. Students had the opportunity to engage in activities focused on academic readiness, mentorship, goal setting, educational success, and preparing for their futures.

Showing up on a Saturday says a lot. These students chose to invest their time in themselves, make connections, and take another step toward the futures they are building.

Our juniors officially kicked off ACT prep in Mrs. Lemus's House class with a little friendly competition—ACT Bingo!

This was a fun way to get students thinking, working together, and sharpening their skills as we begin preparing for the ACT. Over the coming months, they’ll continue building the knowledge, strategies, and confidence they need for test day.

ACT prep is underway, and the Class of 2029 is ready to put in the work!
