Congratulations to 10th grader, Caitlyn Altice, for being our Eagle Excellence student of the week. Caitlyn is the daughter of Justin and Marcie Altice. She exemplifies Eagle Excellence as she is engaged, an achiever, a good human, a leader, and empowered! Caitlyn was the honorary captain for the football game against Bassett and performed the coin toss with our FCHS Challenge Coin which is hers to keep.

Celebrating our fall sports, we had our first pep rally of the year to kick off the first home football game against Bassett. The freshman class showed up and showed out winning the games and the senior class had the loudest pep. Performances by the cheerleaders, band, Fly Girls and Sparkle Squad helped energize the students and each fall sport was introduced.

Yesterday we had our Commitment to Graduate (C2G) Ceremony with the members of our Class of 2030, and it was such a memorable experience for them! Our entire freshman class heard from several staffulty members about the importance of persevering throughout their high school years in order to reach the ultimate goal of graduating, and then they signed their banner as their commitment toward that endeavor. We can't wait to see all of the wonderful things these Eagles are able to accomplish

The 2026 Yearbook has arrived!

All underclassmen who purchased a book will receive their book during their 2nd period class beginning the week of August 17th. Please be patient with our yearbook staff as they work to distribute during that block of time.

All members of the Class of 2026 who purchased a book will be able to pick up their book during the hours of 4-7PM on Wednesday, August 19th. The pickup site is the outside of Technical Building D (you can park in the Central Gym parking lot). For those not able to pick up during that time, you may pick up the book during regular business hours, M-F, 8:30AM-2:30PM.

There will be a limited number of cash and carry books available for purchase on a first come, first served basis beginning the week of August 24th-cost is $80.00 (CASH ONLY). Current students can come to the Tech A Office to purchase; former students/families will come to Student Services.

Additionally, all members of the Class of 2026 who purchased the group photo will also be able to pick up their copy on 8/19/26 between the hours of 4-7PM. If you still have not received reimbursement, you will need to continue to work with Lifetouch directly to ensure receipt of that payment.

If there are any questions, please reach out to Allyson Lynch, Assistant Principal.
