We are excited to invite our Rocky Comfort families to our Fall Book Fair, taking place September 15–18! 📚✨ This special event will also be paired with our Grandparents Day Luncheon 👵👴❤️, giving grandparents and other special guests the opportunity to enjoy lunch with their grandchildren and shop for exciting new books together! 🍎📖 What a wonderful way to celebrate family, reading, and the joy of books! ❤️📚

Our classroom transformed into a research lab where 6th grade students learned how to master the microscope. They got a closer look at the world around us by analyzing slides of pollen grains, animal hair, fish scales, and dandelion fuzz. It is amazing how much detail is hidden in the world around us!

Parachute fun! Seventh grade got to help Coach teach kindergarten how to use the parachute. Looks like they had lots of fun!

Solid,Liquid,Chaos!
The 7th grade had the opportunity to experience different states of matter. They tried being as close as possible to represent a solid. There were 2 groups. One was more solid than the other. Next they were water. They showed how water waves behave and what happens when colliding with another body of water or a solid object. The final phase was gas, every student’s favorite! The behavior of gas is sporadic and bounces off other molecules and other objects. When an opening happens, gas flows out freely and wildly.

We survived our first week back! It was full of big smiles, new routines, and just a bit of that back to school chaos! It’s been an unforgettable beginning. Here’s to fresh starts, early mornings, and a great year ahead!

One MC. One Purpose. One Impact. ❤️

We are so proud of our high school cross country student-athletes for giving back to the Rocky Comfort community! They took time to clean and care for the memorial honoring a former Rocky Comfort teacher.
Their hard work, servant hearts, and pride in our community are a wonderful reflection of what it means to be MC Strong. We are grateful for the example they are setting and the impact they are making! Shout out to Coach VanSlyke for heading up this project ❤️🖤
