Mrs. Bartels and Mrs. Blair took the 3rd graders to the Calhoun County museum to experience some history of music and technology.

We saw so much more while we were there! We are so grateful we have a place like this to preserve the history of our county!

Career on Wheels was a huge success this year! We want to extend a huge thank you to all who participated, helped, and supported the event. It is nearly impossible to list everyone who made the event a success, but we want you all to know that we saw the effort. If you took pictures at the event, please post them in the comments below.

Attention all who plan to attend Career on Wheels tomorrow, road construction has significantly impacted our connected roads. The clearest path to get to the event is to reach the school on Brower st from the north side. Do not try and get to the school from the south entrances. Please share

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week! Help us thank our teachers and all staff who make SCC elementary the best place to be! Shoutout to PTO for the flair pens that were donated with some of the notes!

3rd grade is learning about the effects of wind events on fruit trees/crops. Students designed and built models of windbreaks. The windbreaks were tested, redesigned, and retested to see if we could protect our crops. All windbreaks were successful!
