Everyone, meet our beautiful new girl, Penny!

Penny recently joined the Roxie’s Family for a little Monday–Friday mid-day potty break, playtime, and, of course, some love from her CareTeam, Anna & Grace. 🥰

This sweet girl is the perfect combination of gentle and silly. She has already won us over with that precious face, her goofy personality, and those adorable up-close-and-personal nose shots. 😂

But we’re pretty sure we know the highlight of Penny’s mid-day visit...

🐾💕 TODAY WE’RE CELEBRATING SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT! 💕🐾

We don’t have any Roxie’s birthdays to celebrate today, but we DO have one very special anniversary...

Today is Click Clack’s ADOPTION DAY! 🏡🐾

On September 17, 2021, this sweet girl found her forever family — and goodness, did she hit the jackpot. 💗 CC is one very loved, very happy only child with two amazing parents who absolutely adore her.

And if you’ve ever wondered where the name “Click Clack” came from... it’s exactly as cute as you’d imagine. 😂 Her parents named her after the little click-clack, tip-tap sound of her nails walking across their tile floors. Around here, we usually just call her CC. 🐾

CC joined the Roxie’s Family in 2023, and her CareTeam, Katie & Grace, will happily tell you what a sweetheart she is.

And then there are the SPLOOTS. 😂😂 This girl doesn’t just sploot... she commits to the sploot. 10/10 form. No notes.

Today marks FIVE YEARS since CC’s parents chose her and gave this beautiful girl her forever home. 🥹💕

So today, instead of singing Happy Birthday, we’re celebrating the day her whole world changed.

Happy 5th Adoption Day, Click Clack! 🏡💗🐾

Here’s to the day you found your people — and your people found you.

❤️🐾 A little piece of Roxie’s story was shared today…

We are incredibly grateful to VoyageDallas for inviting us to share the story behind Roxie’s Pet Sitting as part of their Inspiring Stories series.

This year marked 10 years of Roxie’s, and putting our story into words gave us a chance to look back at just how far this little God-ordained business has come.

What began in 2016 with the two of us, a calling, a whole lot of faith, and absolutely no idea what God had planned 😂 has grown into something we never could have imagined.

And the truth is, this story belongs to so many more people than just us.

It belongs to every family who has trusted Roxie’s with their beloved pets and homes. It belongs to every CareTeam member who has loved those pets as if they were their own. It belongs to the local pet professionals and businesses who have worked alongside us, supported us, referred us and become our friends. And, of course, it belongs to every furry, feathered, scaled and occasionally slobbery member of the Roxie’s Family who has touched our hearts along the way. ❤️

We’re incredibly thankful for the opportunity to share a little about where we came from, some of the challenges along the way, what makes our CareTeam special, and the faith that continues to guide everything we do.

Thank you, VoyageDallas, for giving us the opportunity to tell our story.

And thank YOU for being part of it.

Meet beautiful Pushi, one of the newest members of the Roxie’s Family! 🩷

We had the pleasure of meeting this pretty girl for the very first time today, and while getting to know her, we discovered something VERY important…

Pushi JUST had a birthday on September 13th! 🎂🥳

We may not have known her yet on her actual birthday, but now that she’s officially part of our family, there was NO WAY we were letting it go by without celebrating her! 💕

So please help us wish our brand-new girl a very Happy Belated Birthday! We’re so excited to have you in the Roxie’s Family, Pushi, and we’re looking forward to lots of love, cuddles and sweet memories ahead.

One of our favorite things about doing what we do is getting to watch our pet clients grow through the years. From the youngsters to the sweet seniors, every birthday is another year we’re grateful their families have trusted us to be a little part of their lives. 💜

🎉🐾 IT’S A ROXIE’S BIRTHDAY PARTY! 🐾🎉

Apparently September 15th is a VERY popular day to be born, or adopted, in the Roxie’s family! 😂🎂 Today we get to celebrate FIVE of our sweet clients!

🎈 Callie — 9 years young
🎈 Lexi — 2 years young
🎈 Pistol — 9 years young
🎈 Zoey — 11 years young
🎈 Zero — 11 years young

From our youngster Lexi at just 2, all the way to our fabulous 11-year-olds Zoey & Zero, there are a whole lot of years of love represented in this crew. 💕🐾

Each one has their own personality, their own story and their own special place in our hearts. Some we see regularly, some we’ve loved for many years, and some — like our Roxie’s Family Alumni Zero — we now love mostly from afar. But once a Roxie’s baby, ALWAYS a Roxie’s baby. 💜

Happy Birthday, Callie, Lexi, Pistol, Zoey & Zero! 🥳🎉

🎉🐾 HAPPY 11TH BIRTHDAY, ZERO! 🐾🎉

Some pets come into our lives as clients and, somewhere along the way, simply become family. Zero is definitely one of those. 💙

We have loved this handsome Miniature Schnauzer for many years. After his sister Libby passed away and Zero became an only child, we knew that with Mom & Dad traveling frequently, this sweet boy would be happiest with a little different setup — the comfort, companionship and attention of private-home boarding and daycare.

And goodness, has this boy collected himself a CareTeam over the years! 😂💙

From his Roxie’s family, to Grandma Judy, and now Juan & Paige at All Pets Pet Sitting, Zero has never been short on people ready to love and spoil him while Mom & Dad are away.

We may not get to see our sweet boy very often anymore, but we still keep up with his parents and LOVE hearing that he is happy, healthy and doing great. Because once you’re part of the Roxie’s family, you’re always part of the Roxie’s family. 🐾

Today, September 15th, our handsome Roxie’s Family Alumni turns ELEVEN YEARS YOUNG! 🎂🥳

Happy Birthday, Zero! We hope your day is filled with treats, toys, cozy naps and all the love your little Schnauzer heart can hold.

Meet two of our newest Roxie’s brothers — Java & Juno! And let’s just say...these two have already given their CareTeam plenty to talk about. 😂

🎾 JUNO: “You have a ball? We’re best friends. You threw the ball? I love you. You stopped throwing the ball? We need to discuss your performance.”

👀 JAVA: “I have reviewed your work and...I have concerns.”

🤣🤣🤣

Juno is 100% BALL-DRIVEN and always ready for the next round, while Java seems to spend his visits silently judging every decision his humans at Roxie’s make. And THOSE EYES! 😂 We’re pretty sure Java has opinions about all of us.

Together, these handsome Schnauzer brothers are double the personality, double the entertainment and absolutely double the fun. 💙

Java & Juno — and their home — are lovingly cared for by their Roxie’s CareTeam, Clay & Karen. 🏡🐾

We are already completely smitten with these two characters!
