Happy Dot Day!
Prek had fun celebrating Dot Day at school! 🔴🟡🔵 We even dressed for the occasion in our favorite dot and circle clothing. Our day was filled with all things dots as we enjoyed circle- and dot-shaped snacks, learned about artist Yayoi Kusama and her famous use of dots, and created our own colorful dot-inspired artwork. We also strengthened our fine motor skills by peeling, placing, and creating with dot stickers. It was a fun day of creativity, exploration and lots of dots! 🎨⚪️🟣

Fairy houses, teepees, animal hospitals, and flowers-oh my! 🌸🏕️🐾

Third grade put their creativity and problem-solving skills to work as they designed and built structures that were 5 inches tall, could stand on their own, and used at least two different materials. Students observed and tested materials to determine which would work best for each task, planned their designs, and then got to building!

It was loud. It was messy. It was creative. And most importantly, it was FUN! Our third graders showed teamwork, perseverance, and some serious engineering skills along the way! 🔨✨

Yes, Yearbook pictures are a great excuse to get dressed up, fix your hair, and show off your best smile! 😉 But they’re also SO much more than that. They’re a little snapshot in time-a way to freeze a moment and look back on just how far we’ve come. 💛

✏️📖 And that’s a wrap on personal narratives! 🎉

Our 2nd and 3rd graders officially wrapped up their personal narrative writing unit this week! To celebrate, students partnered up to share their final drafts, listening proudly as their classmates brought their real-life stories to life. 💙

There’s something so special about getting to celebrate together- sharing the stories they worked so hard to write and cheering each other on along the way. That’s Eagle Pride right there! 🦅❤️💙 Celebrating the wins.. big and small together!

Ms. Craighead’s class worked in groups this week to practice skip counting during math and build their partner-reading skills during reading! Our Eagles are learning, collaborating, and cheering each other on every step of the way. 🦅✨
