Our Stars celebrated International Dot Day by dressing up, getting creative, and discovering just how much can come from one simple dot! 🎨✨

A dot may seem small, but it can spark a BIG idea, inspire creativity, and remind us that everyone has the power to make their mark. 💫

Today our Stars showed us that creativity doesn’t have to start with something complicated… sometimes, it starts with just a dot! 🔵❤️🟡

Today we are celebrating the amazing Mrs. Doss and thanking her for ALL she does to support our Shannon Stars! 💙

From troubleshooting technology, answering countless questions, or helping our teachers and students navigate all things tech, Mrs. Doss is always there when we need her. Her patience, knowledge, and willingness to jump in and help make such a difference on our campus each and every day.

Big Kahuna Fundraiser is Here! We are excited to kick off our Big Kahuna Fundraiser! Funds raised will go directly back to Shannon to help us fulfill teacher wish lists, make campus improvements, and restock our student-favorite Book Vending Machine! ⭐📚

There are tons of great items available online, so be sure to share your student’s fundraiser link with family and friends!

📅 Last Day to Participate: September 30!
All fundraiser sales must be completed by September 30, so start sharing and selling today!

👾 Collect Space Monsters!
Every morning from 7:00–7:45 AM, students can bring their qualifying tickets signed by a grown-up to cash them in for Space Monsters and chances to win the special prize!

🚌 Earn the Limo Bus Experience!
Students who sell 15 items will earn the exciting Limo Bus experience! Families with siblings can participate in the Family Plan—sell 20 items together, and all siblings get to participate!

📦 Item Delivery & Pick-Up
Fundraiser items can be shipped directly to your home or picked up at Shannon in November. More information about the school pick-up date and time will be shared as we get closer.

🎉 Limo Bus Experience
Students who qualify for the Limo Bus experience will enjoy their celebration early in the second semester.

Join us for dinner and game night Thursday, September 10th from 6:00-7:30! Student council will be selling concessions to help raise money for different student incentives and projects they will be doing this year! We can't wait to see you there!

A message from McLendon-Chisholm Fire Department: 205 from FM 550 to Via Tuscana is currently shut down due to a communications line hanging across the roadway, preventing traffic flow. The communications company has been notified, but currently, we don't have an estimated time of arrival for the fix. Please be patient as our crews are directing traffic up FM 550 and through Sonoma Verde to navigate the hazard.

Student council is participating in the RHHS Homecoming parade! They need candy to hand out during the parade. Donations can be dropped off in the front office, or given to your student's teacher!

Our first family event of the year is on Thursday! Join us for a little family fun and games from 6:00-7:30!

Student council will be selling hot dogs, nachos, and other concession items too!
