Hello, and Welcome to Voss Tutoring! At Voss Tutoring, my husband, Brian, and I, Heather, want to work with you to reach your academic goals.

I have been with this school district for a year as a certified teachers assistant with the Special Education Department. I started as a substitute but quickly fell in love with the job and found a new passion. I truly enjoy learning how my students learn. It helps them become successful, which is ultimately want I want for them. My students have taught me it is well worth taking the time to understand what works for them so that it will stay with them always. I am offering Reading, Writing and Math for K-6 and a few higher grade level tutoring.

Brian is a Software Engineer, and has worked for companies such as IBM, Frontier Communications and USAA. His knowledge of coding languages is vast and is constantly growing. Some areas that he will be offering tutoring for include Java, Webservices, Agile Scrum Methodology, Industry Standards, Database design and design patterns, designing effective algorithms and Object Oriented Programming, and so much more!

The advantage of having a private tutor is the customized approach to help you or your student be the most successful. At Voss Tutoring we work with students and families to align goals and expectations. We will have frequent updates on progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure the best possible outcome.
