Happy National Literacy Day! 📚🤎

Here’s a little peek into Mrs. Mandy’s Upper Elementary class and some of the ways students have been growing as readers!

A couple of weeks ago, they turned the classroom into a Starbooks Café ☕️📖, where students explored books, talked about what they were reading, and practiced sharing their thoughts and recommendations with others.

Today, they were back to their The Wild Robot novel study! 🤖

We really value our novel study blocks and believe that being intentional with reading time helps build strong, confident readers. Slowing down and spending time with one book gives students the chance to grow their vocabulary, strengthen comprehension, analyze characters, make connections, and have meaningful conversations about what they’re reading.

It’s not just about finishing a book, it’s about learning how to really understand and think about what they read. 📚✨

There’s something really special about this picture when you know a little of the history behind our building.

Before it became home to Blossoming Minds Learning Studio & Saint Benedict’s , this was Congressman Ralph Hall’s home. During his time in Congress, he was a huge supporter of science, technology, and space exploration and later served as Chairman of the House Science, Space and Technology Committee.

He also had friendships with astronauts like Buzz Aldrin, and there was even a helicopter pad right here on the property where Buzz himself came to visit.

So seeing our kids flying drones, building robots, experimenting, and learning about technology in the same place just feels pretty neat.

This home has seen a lot of history, and now a whole new generation gets to learn, explore, and dream inside of it. 🥹

I have a feeling Ralph Hall would love seeing little minds still getting excited about science and taking flight right here at his old home. 🚁🚀✨

Everyone, please welcome Mrs. Bailey!

Mrs. Bailey will be Mrs. Olivia’s assistant this school year and will be here to help our families & with anything they may need. She will also be our Program Support Coordinator for our Monday and Wednesday programs, helping make sure everything runs smoothly throughout the day.

We are so happy to have her as part of Blossoming Minds and know she is going to be such a wonderful addition to our school! ✨

Choose either Music or Art.
🌸 Half-Day — $150/month

We’re celebrating the end of summer with a special offer! All supply fees are waived, and new families only need to pay the $175 annual family registration fee for the 2026–2027 school year. One registration fee covers the entire family! 💛

Our Monday classes include:

🎵 Rhythm & Roots — Music

🔬 Wonder Lab — Science Lab

✨ Monthly Enrollment Options:

• Single Class — $95
• Half-Day: Two consecutive classes — $150
• Full-Day: All four classes from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM — $200

Our program is a nature-based, hands-on learning environment that values creativity, curiosity, and meaningful connections with students.

Qualifications:
• A love for working with children
• Experience teaching or leading groups of students
• For enrichment classes (Music, Art, Robotics), individuals should have several years of experience teaching their subject to a wide range of students. A teaching certification is not required, but preferred.

We are looking for individuals who are creative, reliable, and excited to help students learn through exploration, projects, and engaging activities.
