Monday morning, 1st day of school. 10am. We meet up in the sanctuary of Rockwall Pres just off the downtown square. We check the littles into childcare, get a really good coffee and spend an uninterrupted hour praying with other moms from every school in Rockwall ISD. We pray in small groups with moms from our kid’s school. We pray for our own kids, all RISD kids, all the teachers, staff and administrators. We take our expectations, joy, fear and anxiety to God. We praise him for who he is, thank him for all he has done, silently confess our sins and pray for the needs that are seen and unseen. We end right at 11:15, pick up a snack, exchange contacts with a new friend from our kids school, pick up our littles from childcare and go about our day. Covered. Reminded of what is true on the first day of school and for eternity.

Moms in Prayer for RHS will have a day and evening time plus a central location for the 2022-23 school year.
