This past weekend Philadelphia Eagles WR AJ Brown was caught on camera reading a book. He explained his reason for doing such. “This game is 90% mental and 10% physical for me,” he wrote in a post. “I bring it to every game, and I read it between each drive. I use it to refocus and lock in despite what may transpire in the game, good or bad.”
It is a brilliant way to remain calm and relaxed on the sport’s biggest stage. Those of you who play high school or college sports understand the thoughts and nervousness which fill your brain during competition no matter what the sport. If you could read a book on the sidelines during a break to help keep you grounded and relaxed, what book would you read?

We are EATS proud of who was recently named 1st Team All Howard County representing . What is remarkable about Lakshmi's achievement is that the former star is only a freshman. To make a name for yourself as a ninth grader on one of Maryland's best Field Hockey programs is an accolade within an accolade. The bar has been raised Lakshmi, time to get back to work for the 2025 season.
