Feeling incredibly grateful for all who came out to support us & Rainbow Place Shelter at the Yes, In Our Backyard Gala. Especially for our parent member Leah Larson-Rabin who planned the event, and has been such a great support over the last year. Thanks to Mayor Ashton for looking out for us & to all of our members and other friends- we couldn’t do any of this without you. And lastly, thanks to two of our favorite local, community-minded businesses the Bean Bag Deli, & petitdeliceusa for providing the delicious treats. It was a special night indeed!

Some call it May-cember, we call it a May to remember. Fun in the mud kitchen, teddy bear picnics, muffins with mamas, working together to build a massive fort, observing nature, and making art using everything from your hands to your teacher herself as a canvas… every day was filled new discoveries & adventures!

We had a fabulous day yesterday at our annual Trike-A-Thon & charity fundraiser. This year, in honor of an amazing friend in the 4s class, our families raised funds for breakthrought1d, an organization that raises awareness for & supports research into Type 1 Diabetes. Together, our families surpassed our goal raised $5221! And thanks so much to our friend, Corp. Crowe from Rockville PD, for helping our kiddos learn about bike safety!
