RPCNS, A Cooperative Nursery School Rockville Pre-K & Cooperative Nursery School RPCNS is a non-profit, secular, cooperative nursery school located in Historic Rockville, MD.

We did it! Suffice it to say, moving a 63 year old nursery school is quite a bit of work (keep watching for before pics)! But with A LOT of help, and the steady dedication and hard work of our director and teachers (and their families :)), we are finally settled in and have made our new school ours. We are so thankful to our parents and our talented Board of Directors who have done so much to lead us through this transition over the past two years.

Yesterday was the first day of school in our new school - stay tuned for pictures of all the fun stuff!

Feeling incredibly grateful for all who came out to support us & Rainbow Place Shelter at the Yes, In Our Backyard Gala. Especially for our parent member Leah Larson-Rabin who planned the event, and has been such a great support over the last year. Thanks to Mayor Ashton for looking out for us & to all of our members and other friends- we couldn’t do any of this without you. And lastly, thanks to two of our favorite local, community-minded businesses the Bean Bag Deli, & petitdeliceusa for providing the delicious treats. It was a special night indeed!

As a co-op, we know that community is EVERYTHING. We've been proud to be neighbors with Place Shelter for many, many years. The Yes, In Our Backyard Gala, hosted by our other neighbors, the Larson-Rabin Family, is a chance for you support both us & Rainbow Place in a time of need for both organizations! Us, as we relocate to our new building across the street, and Rainbow, as they search for a new shelter space to continue their essential work. Join us for an evening of connection & support!
