2月22日華府中文學校全體老師, 家長和同學們在一片歡樂和笑聲中一起慶祝 2026 「馬上發財 」春節聯歡晚會 。大家把學校餐廳現場佈置融合傳統與現代元素, 展現高雅大氣的節慶, 燈光與背景相互呼應 , 營造出時尚又溫馨的新年場景。

晚會由12年級學生組成的主持團隊介紹下揭開序幕, 先由雄壯威武, 鼓聲震天, 威風凜凜的舞獅表演, 現場氣氛瞬間沸騰 。隨後副校長劉儀倫與董事長李中慧並先後致詞和拜年, 她們也感謝大家一直以來對學校的辛苦付出與貢獻 。晚會期間還有特別意外的驚喜 -- 味全龍啦啦隊成員林襄與李多慧意外現身 ! 她們和同學們一起唱歌, 跳舞 ，這個意外的到來, 讓大家高興不已, 把所有人的情緒都帶到至高點。

當晚節目內容多姿多彩, 從民族舞蹈, 詩歌舞蹈到小孩童帶來「小花朵」、「恭喜恭喜」及「過年好」等唱歌跳舞表演, 活潑可愛, 博得滿堂喝采 。節奏棒演出整齊劃一，展現團隊默契；「竹濤」剛柔拳表演則剛勁有力，呈現武術動靜之美 。當然還有每年春節晚會不能缺少的相聲表演, 精彩絕倫, 令人拍案叫絕 ; 讀誦《弟子規》時同學們聲音整齊洪亮, 抑揚頓挫分明；扯鈴演出動作俐落, 精準到位, 贏得觀眾熱烈掌聲。

晚會現場充滿歡聲笑語, 大家臉上洋溢著喜悅和滿足, 精彩的表演令人回味無窮, 也為新的一年揭開了充滿希望的開始 。活動期間穿插多次抽獎, 氣氛緊張刺激, 驚喜連連, 當念出號碼時, 全場屏息以待, 氣氛扣人心弦。

壓軸由師生們合唱「我只在乎華府」, 歌聲和諧悦耳, 令人陶醉其中 。隨著最後一個節目結束, 晚會在熱烈的掌聲中圓滿落幕。

On February 22nd, teachers, parents, and students of WSCLC gathered in joy and laughter to celebrate the 2026 "Prosperity on Horseback" Lunar New Year Gala. The school cafeteria was transformed with a blend of traditional and modern elements, creating an elegant and grand festive atmosphere. The interplay of lighting and backdrops crafted a scene that was both stylish and heartwarming.

The gala kicked off with an introduction by a hosting team of 12th-grade students. It opened with a majestic and awe-inspiring lion dance; the thunderous drumming instantly energized the room. Following the performance, Vice Principal Helen Liu and Chairwoman Jennifer Lee delivered speeches and New Year greetings, expressing their gratitude for everyone’s hard work and contributions to the school.

The evening featured a massive surprise: Xiang Lin and Lee Dahye Lee, members of the Dragon Beauties (Wei Chuan Dragons cheerleaders), made an unexpected appearance! They sang and danced with the students, sending the crowd into a frenzy of excitement.

The program was vibrant and diverse, ranging from traditional folk dance and "poetry dance" to adorable performances of "Little Flower," "Gongxi Gongxi," and "Happy New Year" by the younger children, which earned rounds of applause. The rhythm stick performance was perfectly synchronized, showcasing great teamwork, while the Jue Tao martial arts display blended strength and grace. A Lunar New Year gala wouldn't be complete without Xiangsheng (crosstalk), which was absolutely brilliant and left the audience in stitches. Additionally, students recited the Di Zi Gui with powerful, rhythmic voices, and the diabolo (Chinese yo-yo) team performed with such precision and flair that they drew enthusiastic cheers.

Throughout the night, the room was filled with laughter and joy. Between performances, several lucky draws kept the tension high and the surprises coming—the whole room held its breath every time a number was called. For the grand finale, teachers and students joined together for a harmonious rendition of "I Only Care About Huafu." As the final notes faded, the gala concluded to thunderous applause, marking a hopeful and memorable start to the New Year.

由大華府地區中文學校聯誼會（WMACS）主辦的 2026 年青少年民俗體育扯鈴友誼觀摩賽，已於 2 月 14 日在華府文教中心圓滿落幕。 本屆賽事有六所學校、共34 位學生參賽 。在指導老師戴溏恩 Alex Tai 的帶領下, 華府中文學校的學生們經過不懈努力 , 也取得優異成績 。

The 2026 Youth Folk Sports Chinese Yo-Yo Friendship Competition, hosted by the Washington Metropolitan Association of Chinese Schools (WMACS), concluded successfully on February 14 at the Culture Center of TECRO in Gaithersburg Maryland.

A total of 34 students from six schools participated in this year's event. Under the leadership of the instructor, Alex Tai (戴溏恩), students from the WSCLC achieved outstanding results through their tireless efforts.

2025大華府地區中文學校聯誼會 (WMACS) 漢字辨詞比賽已經於星期六 (11/08) 結束, 華府學生表現優良 !!! 活動共有七所中文學校 組成24支隊伍、72位學生 熱烈參賽，充分展現了本地中文教育的成果與學生們對語言文化的熱愛。

The 2025 WMACS Chinese Character Identification Competition ended on Saturday (11/08), and WSCLC students performed well! A total of seven Chinese schools composed of 24 teams and 72 students participated enthusiastically, fully demonstrating the achievements of local Chinese education and students' love for language and culture.

The junior high school group is the only team that achieved perfect scores in both rounds of individual competitions!

Finally, special thanks to teacher Zhuang Guoyu for his leadership and all parents for their encouragement and participation!

由大華府地區中文學校聯誼會（WMACS)主辦 一年一度的校際聯合運動會於2025年10月19日在馬州蒙郡波多馬克市邱吉爾高中舉行。今年共有七所僑校參與 , 包括華府中文學校、黎明中文學校、華府臺灣學校、代表處中文學校、中華聖經中文學校、洛城中文學校及華府慈濟人文學校 。運動會開幕典禮由各個學校拿著自己學校的旗子帶領他們的老師和學生繞著操場巡遊一圈 , 揭開序幕 , 場面壯觀熱烈 , 盛況空前 。

運動會競賽項目有拔河、田徑與接力 。 華府有超過75名學生參加了這些比賽，並且取得了非常優異的成績。

The annual WMACS joint-Chinese-school field day was held on October 19, 2025, at Churchill High School in Potomac, Maryland. This year, a total of seven Chinese schools participated, including WSCLC, Li-Ming, DC Taiwanese School, TECRO Chinese School, CBCM Chinese School, Rockville Chinese School, and the Tzu Chi Academy of Washington D.C. The field day opening ceremony kicked off with each school carrying its own flag and leading their teachers and students in a parade lap around the track and field, making for a magnificent, enthusiastic, and unprecedented event.

The competitions included tug-of-war, track and field, and relays. More than 75 students from the WSCLC participated in these competitions and achieved outstanding results.

WMACS hosted its annual Teachers' Day banquet at the DC Culture Center auditorium on September 27th.

Charlie Pan and Vicky Huang of WSCLC performed singing and dancing, leading all the attending teachers in a group sing-along of a medley of Taiwanese campus folk songs, bringing the atmosphere to a climax.

華府中文學校一年一度大家最期待的開學日暨2025–2026學年開學典禮已於9月7日圓滿舉行。當日，教職員、家長會、董事會成員與學生們齊聚一堂，身穿整齊校服合影留念，照片中洋溢著燦爛笑容與熟悉面孔，也見證了新生的加入，充分展現家長們對華府中文學校的信任與支持。

自1986年創校以來，華府中文學校即將邁入第40週年。我們擁有一支資深且專業的教學團隊，今年更迎來多位充滿教育熱忱的新進教師，為教學注入新活力。學校始終秉持「傳承中文語言與中華文化」的使命，致力於在多元文化的美國社會中，為下一代打造深具意義的學習環境。除設有幼兒班外，亦開設成人會話班，鼓勵家長與孩子一同學習中文，培養家庭間的語言共融與文化認同。 為提升教學品質，教職員、家長會與董事會於開學前召開年度課程規劃會議，針對教材內容與教學方式進行全面檢討與優化，期望在新學年中，讓學生們以最快樂、最有趣的方式學習中文與文化。
