Technology Access and Equity 💻
A practical, yet often overlooked, topic of debate is how to handle disparities in technology access. While many STEAM projects rely on access to computers, 3D printers, coding software, and other expensive tools, not all students have the same resources.
disagree on how to address this: some advocate for a curriculum that can be done with low-cost or no-cost materials, while others focus on securing grant money or school funding to ensure everyone has access to the same high-tech equipment, even if only in the classroom.
Whatever side of the debate you are on we understand you educators have tons of live experience in the classroom to have a valid case to make! DEILAB Innovation Labs are designed to blend basic hands-on project with basic tech advances to help students continue to grow and understand how projects come in various ways for their benefit!

Learn by seeing and observing.
2️⃣ Auditory Learning:
Learn from spoken instructions.
3️⃣ Kinesthetic Learning:
Learn from experience, hands-on practice.
There is no evidence showing that identifying and teaching to a particular learning style enhances leaning.
So we design our programs to combine all three leaning styles! Toys are fun...but using "Toys as Tools to Teach" makes the DEILAB experience a well-rounded one!
