βFinding high-quality, affordable child care has just been really hard,β Danielle, a local parent enrolled explains. Although her family eventually received the EquiCare Grant, Danielle knows many families that donβt qualify. Accessible needs to be a priority in our community, so that all children receive the they deserve.

Advocacy in action πΌβ¨
This week, Tiffany Jones, Program Director of Precious Moments Family Childcare, was in attendance at the Early Ed convening hosted by the Bainum Family Foundation in Washington, D.C.
Alongside national leaders β including partners from the National Association for Family Child Care β Tiffany joined educators from family child care, center-based programs, and trusted caregivers in powerful conversations about the realities providers are navigating every day.
Participants also visited the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, engaging with the Administration for Children and Families to ensure that the voices of those closest to children and families are heard where decisions are being made.
When family child care educators are at the table, policy moves closer to what children, families, and communities truly need. π
We are proud to see Tiffany representing our field and advocating for stronger systems that honor and support early childhood educators.

πΌβ¨ Advocacy in Action β¨πΌ
This week, Tiffany Jones, Program Director of Precious Moments Family Childcare, joined national leaders in Washington, D.C. as family child care voices were elevated on Capitol Hill.
National Association for Family Child Care Policy Strategist Daphne Alsiyao attended the NAEYC Public Policy Forum hosted by National Association for the Education of Young Children β a powerful convening of more than 400 child care champions committed to strengthening our field.
Together, advocates met with members of Congress to share real stories from the field. Because advocacy is more than talking points β itβs the lived experiences of educators, families, and children that move policy forward.
At Precious Moments Family Childcare, we believe family child care educators deserve to be seen, heard, and valued in every space where decisions are made. When we show up, we ensure policies reflect the realities of our work and the needs of our communities.
Grateful for partnerships that center collaboration and collective impact. The work continues β and we are stronger together. π
