Breathwork is a simple tool that can help. With practice, intentional breathing can give learners a strategy they can use to self-calm when feeling overwhelmed.

This lesson teaches learners how to change their bedding using video modeling. The routine is broken down into clear, visual, and manageable steps to help learners build confidence and develop greater independence.

In Changing the Bedding, learners will see how to:
• Remove the sheets and pillowcase from the bed
• Place the bedding in a laundry basket
• Put on a fitted sheet
• Add a flat sheet
• Make the bed with a comforter
• Put on a pillowcase

When we think about social skills, we often think of things like saying "hello" or taking turns.

But every school day also requires learners to:

- Wait without interrupting.
- Recognize when someone is finished speaking.
- Shift attention from one task to another.
- Accept a change in routine.
- Ask for clarification.
