MC Student Life, Rockville Campus

Today, MC students volunteered at JA Finance Park at Thomas Edison High School of Technology for one of our summer Spirit of Service Days. They led middle schoolers from Redland Middle School in a budgeting simulation, teaching them about savings, credit, debit, and understanding the difference between wants versus needs and many even learned a bit themselves along the way. The Redland MS students signed thank you cards, showing their appreciation. Thanks for being great role models!

The Office of Student Life will be closed for Commencement on Thursday, May 21 and Friday, May 22.

We’ll reopen on Tuesday, May 26.

🗓 May 6 | 2:30–5 PM

A small, yet mighty crew of MC students volunteered today at Comfort Cases in Gaithersburg assembling backpacks for foster kids in Chicago. They also assembled an order of supplies for volunteers to pack in New Jersey. Each backpack, packed with love and care, includes a blanket, toiletries, dental kits, pajamas and socks, a book, a journal or coloring book, crayons or pencils, a stuffie, am affirmation card and menstrual products for girls 10+.

Way to go MC students and thank you for the incredible work you do in the community to help foster children,
