We're back with another ! Back in late May, we got a wonderful update from a former CES Cardinal.

We are proud to celebrate Ryan H. on his recent graduation from Silver Creek High School in Colorado. Ryan graduated as Salutatorian while simultaneously earning an Associate Degree in Cybersecurity through dual enrollment at AIMS Community College.

Throughout high school, he excelled academically, participated in CyberPatriot, supported numerous theater productions through lighting design, and served as a leader and mentor within his school's technology program. This fall, Ryan will attend Colorado Mesa University to pursue a four-year degree in Computer Information Systems with a minor in Cybersecurity.

His family credits CES with helping foster his love of learning, leadership, and service to others. Congratulations, Ryan, on this remarkable achievement!

We have a pretty cool update to share today! 🎓

Some members of the CES Class of 2022 came on Tuesday afternoon for a very special visit. They graduated from high school this year, so they came back to CES for a "clap out." Our Lower and Middle School students lined the halls and cheered as this group walked through the building. They also stayed and chatted with our middle schoolers for awhile about their high school experiences, and shared where they will be attending college, including UMBC, Towson University, University of Delaware, and Penn State, to name a few. Well done, Cardinals, now it's time to soar!

How's this for hands-on learning!? 3rd Grade was learning about the respiratory system and used common household materials to create their own lungs. Pretty cool!

Despite the damp and rainy conditions last Friday, spirits were bright! We chose to focus on fun and team camaraderie, rather than competition. This year's Field Day was full of games, joy, and CES celebration!

Christ Episcopal School was well represented at this year's Rockville Memorial Day Parade. 🇺🇸 Students and families from Preschool through Middle School dressed in their CES spirit gear and marched through Town Square. The icing on the cake? Mrs. Stone driving the bus!

5th Grade took a field trip to the National Museum of Asian Art last week as part of their history and geography studies. While at the museum, their assignment was to observe different artifacts and make notes. Fifth Grade Teacher, Ms. Pfanz said "This is the most diligent group I have ever taken on this trip." Nice work, 5th grade!
