Hi Everyone! Even though the weather does not look favorable for Saturday, the good news is that our celebration will go on rain or shine! The pavilion at the venue is quite large and will accommodate a large number of people. If you have a canopy or tent, please bring it, there is space around the pavilion to accommodate tents. We will be nice and cozy! We look forward to seeing everyone from 11-6 on Saturday and/or Friday night from 6-10 at Embassy Suites. Peary rocks!

Posted by Eric Cary’s wife, Jill.

It is with great sadness in my heart that I’m reaching out to my family and friends to share the news of my husband Eric’s passing. Eric passed peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, May 9th. Many of you have already expressed your condolences, love, prayers and support – it means so very much to me. I can’t thank you enough – it’s helped me get thru the past 4 days.

A graveside service for Eric will be held on Saturday, June 1st at 11:30 am at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, MD (https://ccaw.org/gate-of-heaven-cemetery). Fellowship and a light luncheon will be hosted by Eric’s mother-in-law, Dorothy Fristoe, at her home following the service.

Eric was a proud and active supporter of the military, as well as federal, state and local law enforcement. If you are inclined to make a donation to Wounded Warriors Family Support, an Omaha, NE based charity providing support to the families of those who have been wounded, injured or killed during combat operations, it would honor Eric’s memory (https://wwfs.org/donate/). Please see the Memorial Contributions button under Other Ways to Give on the Wounded Warriors Family Support website if you’d like to make a contribution in Eric’s name. Wounded Warriors Family Support is a 4-star charity as rated by CharityNavigator.org (https://www.charitynavigator.org/ein/201407520).

Charity Navigator is the largest and most-utilized evaluator of charities in the United States providing data on 1.8 million nonprofits and ratings for close to 10,000 charities.
