Our Fort Lauderdale students spent the day volunteering with Feeding South Florida — helping provide more than 4,000 meals to families in the community.
This was one of our biggest volunteer groups yet, and the best part? They’ll be back all summer long. 🙌
At CLE, building independence also means building connection, purpose, and a commitment to showing up for others. Proud of these students for putting that into action.

Our San Diego students explored the San Elijo Nature Center alongside park rangers who shared fun facts about local wildlife, rescued animals, and protected habitats.
From community engagement and social connection to movement and environmental learning, outings like these help students build confidence and independence in meaningful, natural ways. 💚

Through hands-on experiences in real community settings, our students explore career paths, build confidence, and develop the skills that translate into employment and independence.

From animal shelters to food banks to community events, every volunteer opportunity is a stepping stone:
