On the final day of Berman Hebrew Academy Staff Appreciation Week, the PTO has "planted" a diverse garden for all the teachers and staff to take home a bouquet or plant that makes them happy! Happy Shavuot!

The Berman Hebrew Academy PTO continued their celebration of Staff Appreciation Week with a garden party for lunch! Fresh salad, soups, and wraps for the entire staff!

The ice cream truck will be stopping at Berman during lunch with complimentary treats for all staff!

Berman Hebrew Academy staff appreciation week is May 31-June 3 and we are looking for volunteers! If you are available during or after school hours, please let me know!

Huge thank you to all the volunteers who led this year's Chanukah gifts and staff lunch!! Special appreciation to Kimberly Sohl for spearheading the gifts, ensuring every Berman and Sulam staff member received a gift card for the holidays and to Toby Munz for organizing the staff lunch.

Thank you PTO Vaad Horim for the lovely Staff Chanukah lunch for Berman Hebrew Academy and Sulam employees. It was a lovely way to end the holiday.

Berman Hebrew Academy Staff Appreciation Week was a whirlwind this year! The PTO invited the staff on vacation, starting with a continental breakfast, followed by a cafe lunch and juice bar, and a visit from the Hawaiian shaved ice truck today! Tomorrow, we'll give out some useful swag for their "real" vacation!

Huge thank you to Kimberly Sohl for chairing the weeks festivities, Debbie Unger for her tropical decor, Alana Isenberg and Elise Saks for managing breakfast, and all the other parents who volunteered. While we weren't able to be as hands on in school as in prior years, we hope the teachers and staff felt appreciated for getting us through this crazy year!

The PTO will be providing the teachers and staff with lunch from Motis on 3/24. If you would like to show your appreciation for all their efforts and make the shift into Pesach just a little bit easier, please send donations via venmo to or paypal to [email protected]. Donations in all amounts welcome. We have received amounts from $10-250. Feel free to include a note for a specific staff member if you are so inclined.

In a show of appreciation to the teachers and staff for all of their work, the PTO sponsored a special lunch, catered beautifully by The Kosher Kitchen Catering Co. !

And while we owe a debt of gratitude to all the teachers, the 2nd and 4th grade parents specifically contributed in honor of the Chumash and Tanach parties, which were meaningful and beautiful! We are so grateful and fortunate to have teachers who inspire a love of Torah and learning in our children!
