Donyell, a class of 2024 Montgomery College alumnus, is someone to keep your eyes on. As a marketing extraordinaire and current communications and media studies student at Towson University, he excels at building his own unique brand while captivating new audiences through content creation.

We’re grateful to Donyell for emceeing our Recent Alumni Networking Night event at Pinstripes and for continuing to represent MC in extraordinary fashion. Keep shining and dreaming big!

When one door closes, another one opens. 🚪 Earlier this week, we congratulated Jocelyn Granger on the final day of her internship with the MC Alumni Association!

For nearly one year, Jocelyn poured her heart and soul to engaging more students and alumni with the Alumni Association—from helping plan signature events such as the Fall Alumni Social and Recent Alumni Networking Night, to spotlighting the success stories of several MC alumni, and more.

We’re indebted to Jocelyn’s efforts and wish her the best of luck as she continues to excel in her mechanical engineering career journey!

Shoutout to the Community Engagement Team and all the Montgomery College Alumni who helped make this year’s festival a success! We’d like to give special recognition to recent alumni Diane Carrillo ‘26 and Daved Flores ‘26, who gave remarks about how MC supports the Salvadoran community. We’re excited to launch a Hispanic and Latino/a MC Alumni Chapter as we move closer to Hispanic Heritage Month.

We are so honored to be a part of the Salvadoran Festival Press Release on Rockville Campus this Friday morning. Thank you to County Executive Mr. Marc Elrich, Montgomery College President Dr. Jermaine F. Williams, and COTSA President Mr. Odir Perla for their wonderful support in highlighting the 15th annual Salvadoran Festival! We would also like to thank our recent alumni Daved Flores ‘26 and Diane Carrillo ‘26 and the families that were present for sharing the excitement of the festival🎉 

Join us on Sunday, August 2nd at Rockville Campus from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. to celebrate the amazing Salvadoran community in Montgomery County. The festival is free and open to the public. There will delicious food and drinks, Salvadoran music, unique vendors and many more!  

We hope to see you there 🙌🏻
