Wonderful au pair from Brazil available soon!
Bruna is a 23 year old au pair looking for a loving host family. Please read her letter below. She may be perfect for your family!
“My name is Bruna, I am 23 years old. I am Brazilian and I live in São Paulo - Capital, the largest and most populous city in the country. I currently live with my family, my mother, my grandmother, my only sister, and 4 beautiful puppies.
I always have a great relationship with my family, my mom and my grandmother have always raised me to be independent and to run after my dreams, and always encourage me to be a better and more evolved person every day.
In 2013, I moved to the city of São José dos Campos (in the interior of São Paulo) to begin my studies in dentistry. I spent one year alone and the other 4 years I shared apartment with roommates, who during those years, were a second family for me.
With this experience, I became much more independent than I was before, I learned to overcome my fears, control my finances, take care of my home and my health alone. During this journey, I received a lot of positive support from my family. And thanks to that, I can say that this experience made me very happy and made me a better human being, so I will keep great memories from college.
I recently graduated as a dentist, and since my graduate, I have spend my time between working in the odontological clinic and volunteer work in the daycare center where my mother works. My mother is a teacher and takes care of children between 0 and 4 years old. Since she started working in daycare, I go festive events and activities with children, and I have developed a big interest in the world of children.
My dream is work with children's health in the field of pediatric dentistry. I want to educate them about oral health, I want to treat them when necessary, and I want to guide them to create a habit of healthy.
The au pair program will help me to insert myself in a much more intense way in the children's universe, I want to know them better, learn their language, their way of thinking. What I love about children (and I seek as a model of life) is the purity and simplicity that they bring to life. I believe that living with children will teach me to speak their language, to listen what they say and to understand how they think, and that will make me a much better professional in the area that I want to follow.
For me, being an au pair is always to be alongside the children in the absence of their parents, and to give all the necessary support during their development. I want to be present in the children's lifes and I will do everything I can to make them better people. I want to help them grow responsibly, and know how to value things. I want to be present to give all the support necessary for them to develop with confidence and joy; I want to fill their fears and teach them how to deal with them. I want to be their right arm, to be a partner, to be a friend; I want them to count on me when they have a problem or an insecurity. I want to be able to help them in whatever way I can. I am a very correct person, responsible, versatile and I know how to deal with many situations. I know how to be firm when necessary, but I also know how to give love when they need it. I am very open mind and I love to talk. For me, communication is the base of any relationship.”
