ලෝක කාන්තා දිනය යනු කාන්තාවන්ගේ ශක්තිය, කැපවීම සහ සමාජයට කරන දායකත්වය අගය කරන විශේෂ දිනයකි. කාන්තාවක් සමාජයේ සම්පූර්ණත්වයට පැමිණෙන්නේ ඇය වටා ඇති සමාජය, විශේෂයෙන්ම පිරිමි සහයෝගය හා ගෞරවය සමඟයි. පුරුෂ මූලික සමාජයකදී කාන්තාවට ලැබෙන ගෞරවය, අවස්ථා සහ ඇයට ලබාදෙන නිසි තැන අනුව ඇගේ ජීවිත ගමන සහ හැකියාවන් ඉදිරියට ගමන් කරයි.

එබැවින් කාන්තා දිනය සමරන විට පිරිමියාවට චෝදනා කිරීමකට වඩා, කාන්තාවට ගෞරවය, සමානාත්මතාවය සහ සුන්දර ස්ථානයක් ලබාදෙන සමාජ සිතුම් පැතුම් වර්ධනය කිරීම වැදගත්ය. පිරිමින් සහ කාන්තාවන් එකට එක්ව ගෞරවය, අවබෝධය සහ සහයෝගයෙන් යුතුව කටයුතු කරන විට පමණක් සමාජයක් සැබවින්ම ඉදිරියට ගමන් කරයි

ඇමරිකාව වැනි දියුණු රටවල් තුළ අද කාන්තාවන්ට ලැබෙන ස්ථානය ඉතා උසස්ය. සමාජය, පවුල සහ රට ගොඩනැගීමට කාන්තාවන්ගේ දායකත්වය අතිශය වැදගත් බව එවැනි රටවල් හඳුනාගෙන ඇත. අද කාන්තාවන් අධ්‍යාපනය, ව්‍යාපාර, දේශපාලනය, විද්‍යා හා තාක්ෂණය වැනි විවිධ ක්ෂේත්‍රවල නායකත්වය දරමින් සමාජයේ ඉදිරියට ගමන් කරමින් සිටිති.

කාන්තාවන් නොමැතිව පවුලක් හෝ සමාජයක් සාර්ථකව පවත්වාගෙන යාම අපහසු බව අද බොහෝ දෙනා අවබෝධ කරගෙන ඇත. ඒ නිසාම කාන්තාවන්ගේ බුද්ධිය, දක්ෂතාවය සහ පරිකල්පන ශක්තිය සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම ප්‍රයෝජනයට ගන්නා අවස්ථා එවැනි රටවල ලැබී ඇත.

විශේෂයෙන් ඇමරිකාව වැනි රටවල් කාන්තාවන්ට සමාන අවස්ථා ලබා දීම, ඔවුන්ගේ හැකියාවන් අගය කිරීම සහ නායකත්වය ලබාදීම තුළින් සමාජයේ ප්‍රගතියට විශාල දායකත්වයක් ලබා ගනිති. එම නිසා කාන්තාවන්ට ගෞරවය හා නිසි ස්ථානය ලබාදෙන සමාජයක් ගොඩනැගීම රටක සංවර්ධනයට ඉතාමත් වැදගත් කරුණකි. 🌸

ලෝක කාන්තා දිනය අපට මතක් කරන්නේ කාන්තාවන්ගේ වටිනාකම හඳුනාගෙන, ඔවුන්ට ගෞරවයෙන් යුතු සහ සාධාරණ ස්ථානයක් ලබාදෙන සමාජයක් ගොඩනැගීමේ වැදගත්කමයි. 🌸

Natamu School Students in DC Donate to Sri Lanka Flood Relief ❤️🌼

Washington, DC – Students and parents of Natamu School of Sri Lankan Traditional Dance have turned holiday cheer into humanitarian action. The funds raised during their Christmas celebration—were donated to the Sri Lankan Embassy in Washington, DC to support those affected by recent floods and landslides in Sri Lanka.

A small appreciation ceremony was held to honor the students’ generosity, with His Excellency Mahinda Samarasinghe, Ambassador of Sri Lanka, expressing heartfelt gratitude to Chathuri Wickramarachchi, founder of the Natamu Dance School, the children, and their families for their compassion and dedication to the homeland.

Through this initiative, Natamu School continues to cultivate not only talented dancers but also socially responsible global citizens.

වොෂින්ටන් ඩී.සී. නටමු ශ්‍රී ලාංකික සම්ප්‍රදායික නර්තන පාසලේ සිසුන් සහ දෙමව්පියන්, උත්සවීය සතුට මානවීය සේවාවකට පරිවර්තනය කළහ. ඔවුන්ගේ නත්තල් උත්සවය අතරතුර එකතු කළ මුදල්, ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ 2025 ගංවතුර සහ නායයාම හේතුවෙන් ආපදාවට පත්වු ජනතාවට සහය දැක්වීම සඳහා වොෂින්ටන් ඩී.සී. හි ශ්‍රී ලංකා තානාපති කාර්යාලයට පරිත්‍යාග කළහ.

සිසුන්ගේ මුදල් පරිත්‍යාගය අගය කිරීම සඳහා පාසලේ ගුරුවරු සහ දෙමව්පියන් විසින් කුඩා කෘතඥතා උත්සවයක් පවත්වා තිබූ අතර, ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ තානාපති මහින්ද සමරසිංහ මහත්මයා, Natamu නර්තන පාසලේ නිර්මාතෘ වූ චතුරි වික්‍රමාරච්චි මහත්මියට, දරුවන්ට සහ ඔවුන්ගේ පවුල්වලට, තම මාතෘභූමිය පිළිබඳ දයාබරත්වය සහ කැපවීම වෙනුවෙන් හෘදයාංගම කෘතඥතාව පළ කළේය.

මෙම උත්සාහය තුළින් Natamu පාසල, දක්ෂ නර්තකයින් පමණක් නොව, සමාජ වගකීමෙන් යුතු ගෝලීය පුරවැසියන් ද ගොඩනගමින් සිටින බව තවත් වරක් තහවුරු කළේය.
