This week the PTA is preparing for Teacher Appreciate week. See below for ways you can pitch in!

Winter Teacher & Staff Appreciation
Let’s show our Maryvale teachers, specialists, building service, and all staff some appreciation by stocking the break room with snacks, drinks, and encouraging posters. Please drop off donated items in the front office now until Dec. 12 so staff can enjoy them the following week.

Fall is right around the corner. Wood Middle School is holding its annual mum sale and would love your support. The flowers are beautiful!

5th grade parents - don't forget the upcoming Wood Middle School meeting for rising 6th graders. Your child should come with you - they take the kids on a tour with current students while they talk to parents.

Do you have an incoming Kindergarten student at Maryvale?

The PTA will be hosting two informal Kindergarten playdates and meet-ups this August. All incoming Kindergarten families are welcome. Both are very informal drop-in events - no RSVP needed. Please spread the word to other incoming Kindergarten families.

- Monday, August 12 from 6:30-8:00 pm at the playground behind Maryvale Elementary School.
- Sunday, August 18 from 10:00-noon at the Maryvale Park Splash Pad (812 First Street, Rockville). Bring a bathing suit for your child.
