What an AMAZING day at Faith Community Academy Elementary! Just look at those SMILES!🎉

Today was Open House, and the excitement was contagious! Our students got to meet their teachers, explore their classrooms, reconnect with friends, and get ready for a wonderful new school year. 😍

It was incredible to see how much our students have grown and how much they have learned over the summer. We can already feel the excitement and anticipation for all that God has in store!

Here’s to a GREAT year filled with learning, growing in our faith, making lasting friendships, and creating memories together. 📚✨🙏

We are thrilled to welcome Mrs. Amy Hunter to the FCA family as our First-Grade Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year!

Amy earned her Bachelor’s degree from Longwood University and brings more than 25 years of teaching experience in Pre-Kindergarten through First Grade throughout the Richmond and Hanover areas. For the past two years, she has served as the Director of Children’s Ministry at Northside Baptist Church.

Amy has been married to her wonderful husband for 29 years and is the devoted mother of two adult children. She treasures every opportunity to spend time with her beautiful grandchildren and family.

Faith is at the heart of Amy’s teaching philosophy. She is passionate about helping children grow academically, socially, and spiritually, and she finds great joy in celebrating their accomplishments while watching them develop into the individuals God created them to be.

Amy is grateful for the opportunity to join the FCA family and looks forward to building meaningful relationships as she shares Christ’s love and fosters a nurturing learning environment for her students.

"Let me tell you ‘bout my Jesus, and let my Jesus change your life.” 🎶

Hearing our students sing these words with such confidence, joy, and volume filled our hearts beyond measure. As we close out this school year, we praise God for the truth planted deep within these young hearts — that they know Christ and are unashamed to tell others about Him.

What a blessing it is to watch students boldly worship and proclaim the name of Jesus. May they continue to shine His light wherever they go. ❤️
