Safety Tip: State Troopers will enforce traffic laws on the Southern State Parkway from exit 17 to 32. Please slow down and be safe.

More patrols, enforcement to start on Southern State Parkway, State Police say The agency says troopers will be out in force in an effort to stop some of the dangerous behaviors leading to crashes on the 25.5-mile roadway.

We just finished up from this scene on the Southern State Parkway, westbound nearest Exit 17 Hempstead Avenue. A 4 door Tesla hydroplained and struck a 🌳 then spun back into traffic.

Squad 413 responded with Ambulance 🚑 4181 and Nassau County Police Ambulance Bureau 2365 and 4100 along with several NCPD officers.

Please slow 🐌 down on the road as the wet weather contributed to this incident.
