Rosa Lee Young Childhood Center will be closed on Friday, 6/19/2026 in observance of Juneteenth!

The children in our PK-K class become very excited when they learn their parent has come to school to be a guest reader. We were delighted to welcome RLY parent, Sarah Moore as she arrived with two books in hand ready to read to the class. She chose "Where the Wild Things Are" written and illustrated by author Maurice Sendak. The story is about a boy named Max who was sent to bed without dinner for misbehaving. His imagination takes him on an adventure sailing away to the land of Wild Things where he becomes the King of the Lands. The second book Sarah read was "Every Body" written by Megan Madison and Jessica Ralli which talks about the uniqueness of our own bodies.

The children in PK-K were so excited to release their butterflies!
