We want to wish everyone good luck on their final exams this week, and we want to give you all an opportunity to De-Stress.
We will be hosting a pop-up table on Tuesday, May 6th from 11:15 am-12:15 pm in the Hagan Lobby. This will be a great opportunity to learn hands only CPR, and Compress to De-Stress.
Additionally, 2 heart safe members will earn their Heart Safe Badge at this event! If you would like to learn more about our Heart Safe Initiative, then please stop by.
And, we will give ONE point towards active membership for MNSA, for 5 minutes of your time. We hope to see you there!

We are happy to announce that MNSA has been awarded the Community Service Award at Mary E. Lily night. This year we have organized and participated in multiple Community Service events such as the Lung Force Walk, Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, and Cycle for Survival-to name a few.

The Lung Force Team presented their poster on “Addressing The Problem of Asthma In The Community at the Multidisciplinary Undergraduate Research Conference. This has been a project that has been in the works with the Faculty for the past three years, and we are happy to see our hard work pay off. We would like to thank our Faculty Dr. Dempsey, Dr. Moore, Dr. Reens and Dr. Ventrello for their continued support and dedication towards this project. We would also like to thank Dr. Schecter and Gardner for supporting us! Truly, we would not be able to do this without these individuals.

This past weekend, MNSA BOD and nursing students had the exciting opportunity to attend the NSNA 73rd Annual Convention in Seattle, Washington. This convention was a great experience for nursing students all over the country with the purpose of allowing students to connect with each other and expand their knowledge on the nursing career via focused review sessions, sim labs, plenary sessions, exhibitor halls and more! We even got to present The Lung Force Team's Poster on "Addressing The Problem of Asthma in the Community" at the NSNA Convention Exhibitor Hall!
After all of our hard work this year we are excited to share that MNSA won 4 NSNA Awards. This included:
1. The Population and Global Health Award
2. The Image of Nursing Award
3. Top NSNA Membership School Award
4. Stellar School Chapter Recognition
Seattle, Washington was truly an experience and it was a pleasure representing Molloy on the West Coast!

On Tuesday, April 8th from 3:00pm-4:00pm, MNSA will be hosting our LAST MEETING OF THE SEMESTER! Camp Nursing and School Nursing Meeting will be presented by nursing professors, Dr. Stone and Dr. Dempsey!
Here they will discuss what camp nursing and school nursing entails as well as share their experiences in these areas of nursing
Room: H004 and zoom option as well! We hope to see you there!
