🎉 TWO AREAS OF DISTINCTION! 🎉

Rocksprings ISD earned two Distinction Designations in the 2025–2026 Texas Accountability Ratings:

➗ Academic Achievement in Mathematics
🎓 Postsecondary Readiness

Distinction Designations recognize outstanding performance compared with similar Texas schools. Our mathematics distinction highlights strong achievement across eligible math indicators. Postsecondary Readiness recognizes our work preparing students for success after graduation, including college, career and military opportunities.

Congratulations to our students for their dedication, our teachers and staff for their commitment to excellence, and our parents for their encouragement, partnership and support.

🎉 ROCKSPRINGS ISD IS A “B” RATED SCHOOL! 🎉

We are proud to announce our incredible accomplishment! For 2026, Rocksprings ISD earned a TEA rating of a "B" with a score of 87.

This is a massive 10-point increase from last year’s 77!

This achievement belongs to our entire RISD community. Thank you to our exceptional teachers, students, and staff for your hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence. Your efforts continue to make Rocksprings ISD the “Best Little District in Texas!”

Now THAT’S our kind of “board” meeting!

Our teachers were treated to the most beautiful charcuterie spread for lunch on Thursday, complete with delicious bites, gorgeous presentation, and a little something for everyone to enjoy!

A huge THANK YOU to Jurahee Silvers with La Cabra for creating such a wonderful spread for our teachers. From the first cracker to the last sweet bite, it was a lunch that was every bit as beautiful as it was delicious! ❤️

And an equally big thank you to People’s State Bank for generously sponsoring this special treat. Your support helped make our teachers feel appreciated as they kicked off the new school year.
