South Spencer Football

This Saturday after our morning practice will be our first Mother/ Son Brunch & Tackle Day. We are inviting all the female members of each players family to come and be a part of this event. Will we start at 10:00. The staff will outfit each family member with helmet, shoulder pad and a practice jersey and let you demonstrate some proper tackle form on your player. We will have brunch afterward and invite you to take pictures with them at their locker. Cost is $10 to be used to feed the team on Thursdays and away game. We look forward to a fun morning. Tomorrow morning South Spencer Football will be hosting their annual pancake breakfast at the Refug in Reo. We will be open from 6:30 to 9:30. All proceeds are to be used for our players attending Hanover college football camp. Thank you

Coaches Comments:
Braydon Hughes had a breakout season for us as only a sophomore. Braydon had been pressed into service his freshman year and has made significant improvements over the year. In only his sophomore year he was our 2nd leading receiver and also added 45 tackles with 4 for loss. Braydon is a multi-sport athlete also excelling on the wrestling mat. He placed top 4 in the PAC, earned a second place finish in Sectionals, and placed 1st at the Indy Nationals with a top 12 in the state.
Braydon is an outstanding student carrying a 3.87 gpa with a desire to continue in sports at the collegiate level while studying Engineering. We look for Braydon's role to only increase over the next two seasons.
