The Education Service Center, Region 2 presents Texans Recovering Together-Coastal Bend, Little Kids, BIG Worries, a story time series. Storytimes take place at the Bell/Whittington Public Library on Wednesdays, July 18th, July 25th, August 15th, August 22nd & August 29th and are free and open to kids ages 3-8 years of age with no preregistration required.

Discover New Adventures in Learning

There are many changes that have happened this last school year that bring exciting new opportunities. One is the opening this fall of Discovery Learning Center for Prekindergarten students and the Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities (PPCD). Our PreK and PPCD teachers are highly trained in early childhood education and will help your child grow and flourish. Students will be able to explore the Discovery Den to gain hands on learning experiences. They will develop technology skills in the computer lab and classroom. An outdoor classroom and music and art space are also in progress. In addition, a family outdoor area with picnic tables and learning activities will be a lovely space to share a meal or moment with your child. Our literacy and family reading programs include Toddler Time, Family Night at the Library, Book Bag Express and more. We will have a full service library to help support your child and family complete with online resources.

Early registration has begun. Register on June 5, 2018 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the Live Oak Learning Center Office to reserve a place for your child. For more information call 361-790-2000.
