Welcome to EMTutoring 101!
My name is Jane Moore and have been involved in medicine since 1987. First as a Licensed Practical Nurse and then as an EMS provider starting in 1997 as an EMT, acquiring my Paramedic License in 2003. I have had a lifelong love of medicine and hope to assist those who want to make EMS their profession as well.
EMTutoring 101 endeavors to assist students in navigating the mountains of knowledge that are associated with the study of Emergency Medicine.
Learning the ins and outs of Emergency Medicine can be overwhelming. There is a great deal to know and at times we often feel that we will never "get it". This is where we need to ask for help. Help from those who have been at that table and wondered if they, too, would ever "get it".
EMTutoring 101, as the name implies, is tutoring specifically aimed at EMS programs and students who are struggling to retain all the information needed in order to become a successful EMS provider. Learning in this field is an ongoing endeavor but starting out, we can have the feeling that we will never get through. You can and you will. And help is available to insure that you succeed.
Tutoring sessions will begin in two weeks and will be offered on the ZOOM platform at present.
