The Polk County Chick-fil-A Nugget Bowl is back! 💛🏈❤️

Join us for a week of friendly rivalry as Rockmart and Cedartown go head-to-head for the title of 2026 Nugget Bowl Champion! 🏆

📅 August 25th: The Tori Luke Foundation Spirit Night | 5pm - 8pm
📅 August 26th: Night Across the County | 11am - 2:00pm & 5pm - 8pm
📅 August 27th: Mobile Order & Score Nuggets
📅 August 28th: RHS vs. CHS Football Game | 7:30pm @ RHS

Parents, join us for Back to School Night on August 31 to learn more about what your child is learning this year. Teachers will present information and answer questions. We will hold two separate sessions that evening: 5:00 and 5:30.

😮WOW! Our reading is off to a great start. We are halfway through August and already our students have read over a million words! Keep up the great work. 📖 Read with your child nightly to help increase reading fluency and comprehension.

Eastside Elementary School Fundraiser Starts in 5 Days so get Pre-registered.

Our big fundraiser starts in a few days! Our goal is to raise $15,000.00 for student and staff incentives, equipment, supplies and school improvements.

We are asking ALL parents to pre-register their student(s) here:

Please get at least one person to support our fundraiser before our official kick-off day. Any student that is registered and adds 10 contacts will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win over 1,000 prizes. Mrs. King has a heart for teaching and has served our Eastside family for 15 years. From Pre-K, Directed Studies, and Virtual Learning to 1st Grade—and now 5th Grade—she brings unmatched joy, grace, and dedication to every single role.

We are so blessed to have her leading and loving our students!
