FCS August Teacher Spotlight: Mrs. Reed

Meet Mrs. Reed! This is her 7th year at FCS, where she teaches Science and Music and assists with our weekly Chapel worship.

Mrs. Reed has more than 15 years of teaching experience and has taught in public, private, online, and homeschool settings, working with students in grades 4–10.

Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Reed enjoys time with her family, playing piano at Calvary Baptist Church, and working in her garden.

FCS is so blessed to have you, Mrs. Reed! We are thankful for the knowledge, talent, and heart you bring to our school family.

This year, our nation celebrates 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

As we reflect on our country's history, we are grateful for the freedoms we enjoy, the sacrifices made by those who came before us, and the opportunity to raise the next generation with faith, character, and purpose.

At Foundation Christian School, we remain committed to helping students grow in wisdom, knowledge, and a biblical worldview as they prepare to make a positive impact on the world around them.

We're looking back at one of our favorite Feed the Need moments!

Our students worked hard to help reach a fundraising goal, and the reward was a visit from some very special dinosaur friends—complete with donuts for participating students and their teacher! 🍩

The smiles, laughter, and excitement made this a day to remember. Thank you to everyone who supported Feed the Need and helped make memories like these possible.

One of the blessings of our chapel program is seeing students actively participate in worship and Scripture.

Whether they're rehearsing memory verses, leading songs, joining Bible trivia activities, or encouraging their peers, our students are growing in their knowledge of God's Word and their confidence in sharing it.

We're thankful for opportunities like these that help shape hearts and minds for Christ. ✝️
