🚓🚒📬 Learning About Our Community Helpers!
Our students have had some very special visitors as part of their Community Helpers unit! We are so thankful to the Rockmart Police Department, City of Rockmart Fire Department, and our local Rockmart postal service for taking the time over the last several weeks to visit FCS and teach our students about the important roles they play in our community.
Thank you for serving our community—and for helping make learning come to life for our students! 💙

FCS October Teacher Spotlight: Mrs. Godfrey

Meet Mrs. Godfrey, who teaches 5th and 6th grades at FCS! This is her fifth year at Foundation, and she has been teaching for over 20 years!

Mrs. Godfrey loves being able to share the gospel with her students and teaching Bible. She especially loves seeing students light up when they grasp a difficult concept!

Outside of school, Mrs. Godfrey loves spending time with her grandbabies and teaching Sunday School and Ladies Bible Study classes at her church.

A fun fact about Mrs. Godfrey—she taught our very own Pastor and Mrs. Wyatt when they were her students!

We are so thankful for the warmth, dedication, and heart Mrs. Godfrey brings to Foundation Christian School. We are so blessed to have you, Mrs. Godfrey!
